Structures & Addresses
The Montana Structures Framework is a statewide spatial database of structure and address points in the State of Montana. Through a federated approach, the project integrates structures and address data from local, tribal, state, federal and private data providers into the Montana Structures/Addresses Database.
Status of Framework
Current status - The Structures Framework is a complete point-in-time statewide structures dataset. Current efforts are focused on adding address data and establishing relationships with local and tribal government providers of structures and address data to sustainably maintain the Framework into the future.
Distribution - The Montana Structures Framework is available as:
- Esri file geodatabase
- Esri shapefile
- ArcGIS Server map service
- KML/KMZ downloads for use in Google Earth
- Other formats/versions available upon request, please contact Framework Theme Lead
Update schedule - The geodatabase download of the Montana Structures Framework will be updated quarterly (March, June, September and December) and updated metadata will be posted to the Montana GIS Portal.
Archival - The Montana Structures Framework will be archived as a database snapshot on December 31st of each year.
